While most 17-year-olds are shopping for prom dresses, Paris Jackson may be on the hunt for a wedding dress.
Why? Paris' boyfriend, 18-year-old soccer player Chester Castellaw, has given the Jackson heir a "diamond friendship ring," a source tells In Touch. Plus, Castellaw has won over her relatives, including her uncle Jermaine, aunt Janet and cousin TJ (her uncle Tito’s 36-year-old son).
“Paris has been through a lot,” a insider tells In Touch. “But now she’s happier than ever, and the family knows that’s largely because of Chester.”
In addition to the tragic 2009 death of her father Michael Jackson, Paris spent a month in a hospital following a June 2013 suicide attempt, followed by time in a residential treatment center.

And Castellaw has been key in helping Paris rebound. “Jermaine thinks they are a perfect match and fully approves of a wedding,” the source says.
Adds the source: “TJ actually spends a lot of time with Paris and Chester because he is often out with them and the family’s security team, and he’s told them he doesn’t think Paris is moving too fast. Janet’s also given her stamp of approval.”
But there is concern in the Jackson clan about the couple marrying. Paris' brother Blanket, 13, is less than thrilled about their potential nuptials, for example.
“He already feels like he gets no attention,” the source says. “Now everyone is excited about Paris’ love affair, and it’s making him feel even more neglected.”
