With Wikileaks putting the entire SONY hack online for you to read, new revelations of the TRUTH just add to what is already known
"They want my catalog and they will kill me for it".

"Mr. Jackson told me he no longer had confidence in John Branca. He decided to personally fire him. He personally took care of that".
And Michael NEVER re-hired him. Even Branca's lawyer admitted that. Oh, didn't you hear about that? Probably because you were too busy to boycott the only book Mr. Mesereau forcefully fought for.

So, Branca's hired spinmeister Sitrick started the Jacksons' crucifixion in the media - yeah, that one you always enjoy so much - and rewrote the hiring story with a more convenient timing.
Ok, let's go back to what Branca was doing.
With Michael Jackson struggling for some sort of control on his own life, Branca was involved in SONY plans to join with Simon Cowell - represented by Branca's law firm - to facilitate the sale of the MiJac catalog.
The man who stressed that "Beatles catalog is not for sale, has not been for sale and will NEVER be for sale" had Sony/Branca's chatting about the sale of the publishing rights for all his own music!
