Sony Music hosts exclusive #MJXscapeFirstListen at Mumbai

MUMBAI: Music giant, Sony Music hosted an exclusive first listen for the album XSCAPE, by the internationally beloved music icon and King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The album of new music was much awaited by fans worldwide. The evening witnessed Luke Kenny - India’s biggest MJ fan take people through the entire album as well as a 20 minute documentary that left everyone spellbound. Rob, an artist, animator, TV host had everyone enthralled with his art which he performed over the song that is already No. 1 globally- ‘Love Never Felt So Good’.

Bollywood super singer Benny Dayal, an MJ fan himself did not leave any stone unturned while at the first listen. He not only went up on stage to do a moon walk but also won the art installation created by Rob. The evening also saw music director / composer Sandeep Chowta and Sanam Puri, the Indian voice behind the The Amazing Spiderman 2, enjoying the music.

The project features eight new tracks, which the world will be hearing for the very first time on the new album by May 12 2014. XSCAPE is executive produced by Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, who, after an initial mining of Jackson’s archives by the Estate, was granted unlimited access to the treasures representing four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals.
