His father was the King of Pop and he gave his first son the rather royal moniker Prince.

And last week in Los Angeles Prince Jackson certainly looked as though he was getting the royal treatment from his pals.


The 16-year-old was spotted heading out on a shopping trip with a group of teenage friends.

And there was little doubt that 16-year-old Prince was the leader of the pack.

The teenager - who is the eldest child of the late Michael Jackson - strolled along confidently with his pals who seemed to hang on his every word.

Prince - who is dating fellow student Remi Alfalah -looked too cool for school on the outing in his black shorts, a red T-shirt and a black hooded sweatshirt which he teamed with a pair of black trainers.


With his hair slicked back and a thick silver chain with a cross around his neck the teenager had a certain swagger as he pulled on his sunglasses as he led his gang on the shopping trip.

Despite his confident appearance Prince and his siblings have gone through a great deal of turmoil since their famous father's untimely death from an overdose in 2009.

Her grandmother Katherine has previously spoken about her intensive treatment and insisted she is "doing much better".

She matriarch revealed: "She is in a good place, getting the help she needs. She is doing much better.
