Michael Jackson's mother Katherine is meeting with jurors who cleared AEG Live executives in the King of Pop's wrongful death lawsuit to determine if she should launch an appeal.
A 12-person jury decided last week that although the concert promoters had hired Dr. Conrad Murray to serve as the singer's personal physician ahead of his doomed "This Is It" gigs, they were not liable for damages following the King of Pop's death as the medic was ruled not "unfit or incompetent to perform the work for which he was hired."
The ruling means AEG Live bosses do not have to pay millions in compensation to Katherine Jackson and the superstar's three children, who claimed the promoters acted negligently by hiring Murray, who is currently serving time behind bars for involuntary manslaughter after he was convicted of administering the fatal dose of anesthetic propofol that cost Jackson his life in 2009.
The Jackson family matriarch's lead lawyer, Brian Panish, has now spoken out about his client's plans to pursue the case further, revealing he and Katherine are hoping to talk to members of the Los Angeles jury in a bid to understand their actions for dismissing the wrongful death accusations.
They will then make a decision about filing a possible appeal within the next month. Panish tells the New York Daily News, "She (Katherine) isn't throwing in the towel ... We can't give up until we gather all the information. Today is another chapter."

La madre di Michael Jackson,Katherine ,vorrebbe incontrare i giurati che hanno assolto AEG Live nella querela per omicidio colposo di Michael Jackson, prima di decidere se fare un ricorso.
Una giuria di 12 persone ha deciso la scorsa settimana che, anche se il promotore di concerti aveva assunto il dottor Conrad Murry per essere al servizio del cantante come medico personale durante e prima del "This Is It" , non erano responsabili degli accadimenti, in quanto il medico non era "inadatto o incompetente a svolgere il lavoro per cui è stato assunto."
La sentenza significa che AEG non dovrà pagare milioni di risarcimento a Katherine Jackson e ai tre figli della superstar, che invece sostenevano AEG avesse agito negligentemente assumendo Murray, che attualmente è in carcere dopo essere stato condannato per omicidio colposo.
L'avvocato della famiglia, Brian Panish, ha adesso parlato dei piani dei suoi clienti per fare ricorso, rivelando che lui e Katherine sperano di parlare con i membri della giuria di Los Angeles, nel tentativo di capire le loro azioni per respingere la querela.
Decideranno poi se presentare un eventuale ricorso il prossimo mese Panish dice al New York Daily News , "Lei (Katherine) non sta gettando la spugna ... Non possiamo mollare , almeno sino a quando non avremo messo insieme tutte le informazioni .Oggi è un altro capitolo."
