MICHAEL Jackson’s family fear for the health of their matriarch after the loss of a £26billion lawsuit against gig promoters AEG.

Although Katherine Jackson, 83, bizarrely claimed victory after the verdict, sources said she was privately “devastated”.

Jacko’s daughter Paris, 15, is also said to have taken the result badly.
A source said: “It hasn’t really sunk in yet but when it does this will hit Katherine very, very hard.”

A jury in Los Angeles ruled Dr Conrad Murray, who looked after Jackson ahead of his tour, was not unfit for his job and so AEG had not been negligent in hiring him.

Murray, 60, was jailed for four years for involuntary manslaughter after giving a surgical anaesthetic to Jacko before his 2009 death.
